My friends David has been extremely instrumental in my life over the past 18 months. I met David at a cafe in San Diego, and he talked to me about working with our new neighbors, the Syrian community. David wasn’t trying to grow his project, David was trying to build as many bridges as possible to connect people with others, so that Gods kingdom could come.
David run’s the Friends of Syria project, which serves the Syrian community in San Diego, providing for needs, and building relationships. We are raising money through their site this month, to send back to Syria to support those who are being oppressed and at risk of starvation and malnutrition. There are two actions for you in this post:
- Listen to David’s story, recorded at a cafe in San Diego, where all great meetings happen. You can listen to that here.
- Check out Bridge Builders Networks “Friends of Syria” and make a donation. 100% of your gifts, minus credit card fees, goes to the Syrian crisis in Syria. Friends of Syria.
