Justice Day

If you are in S. California this weekend you may want to check out Justice Day. Below is some information on it.

Justice Day Deux November 6th, 2010; 2pm-7pm

Kit Carson Park Amphitheatre – 3315 Bear Valley Pkwy, Escondido Ca 92025

Come join us from 2pm-7pm for Food, Live Music, Entertainment, Kid Activities, Disc Golf, and over 30 organizations from all over the county in one central location giving the community the ability to review local causes ‘one stop shop’ style. More importantly, Justice Day will give members of the community the opportunity to get personally involved with current, local justice issues!

Justice Day Deux will again focus primarily on local human trafficking,  fair trade, and homeless issues. Justice Day brings information about local issues and local organizations right here in our own backyard! 1. Get Informed 2. Get involved.

Join us for worship at 7:00pm. Our speakers for the evening are Steve Cass of Breaking Chains, David DeWitt of City of Refuge, and Corbyn Small  of Plant with a Purpose.  FREE PRIVATE SHOWING of the full length feature film CALL & RESPONSE. It’s an 84 minute documentary on Trafficking with Ashley Judd, Switchfoot, Natasha Bedingfield, Moby, and many more! callandresponse.com

Steps Of Justice will be exhibiting at Justice Day this year. We are totally honored to have this opportunity. We will have a booth on the grass, at the top of the amphitheater. We will be selling books, giving out stickers and information on the Cambodia trip and other ways people can get involved in justice issues. If you are not in S. Cal this weekend but know someone who is and may like the event, please send them over.

Finally, please pray for us, that God would use us in the lives of the people we meet there.
