justice and worship

This past week we launched a new site over at Justice and Worship. What is Justice and Worship all about? In 2010, a few of us had a vision to create an Evening of Justice & Worship, an event that would combine justice education with a worshipful response. Now, 2 couples, our kids and one dog are taking the fall and traveling to churches, communities and YWAM centers throughout North America, sharing our passion and talents about justice.

We are doing this by spreading awareness of injustice both locally and internationally, telling stories of brave men and women who have seen injustice and took a stand against it, asking each other what God’s call is 0n our lives in doing justice and responding through musical worship, intercession and engaging in the My Next Step Is site.

Our first tour is planned for October through December of this year, kicking off with a night at the National Youth Workers Convention with a late night session on Friday, Sept 30 at 10:15pm. From there we will be focusing on the West Coast, going through California, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, Montana,Washington and Canada. We are believing God for amazing things to happen both in our lives and the lives of those participating as we share His heart for us to be doing Justice (Micah 6:8).

Would you consider hosting an Evening of Justice and Worship at your church, school or community? We would love the opportunity to share this ministry with you and journey together to pursue the heart of God for justice. Our goal is to partner with what you are already doing related to justice issues, provide information about additional opportunities, and help encourage and connect believers to take their next step.

Cheers and see you in the fall.
