On Saturdays, during the month of October, we will be sharing stories. Stories of ordinary people, like you and me, doing extraordinary things. We want this month to be one of inspiration and hope, not despair and discouragement.
Todays story is about some good friends of ours living in S.E. Asia. Vandy and Kanita work with Youth With A Mission in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We have worked with these two for many years, and just recently started supporting them and their newly formed fitness club. We believe the health and fitness is a justice thing. All people, from all races and economic standing should have the opportunity to participate in fitness, get healthy, and have the resources to eat good, nutritious foods. This story Saturday we focus on the work that Vandy and Kanita are doing with Children at Risk on the outskirts of Phnom Penh.
Take it away Vandy.
We wanted to have an action item that reminded us of Vandy and Kanita, and the work they are doing. The action for the day is fitness. Do one of the following, (not all), and pray for the work Vandy and Kanita are doing:
- 100 Push Ups
- 100 Sit Ups
- 100 Squats
- 100 Pull Ups.
