We are once again excited about the trips we are taking to Cambodia in 2016. This summer we will continue our partnership with Children at Risk, Rock Foundation Cambodia, Agape International Mission, and other ministries working with the poor in Phnom Penh. Just writing this gets me excited and takes me back to the smells, sights, sounds and the oh so delicious Khmer iced coffee with sweet milk.
This summer we will be adding an extra element to our trips. We will be doing a refugee day. There has been so much in the news regarding families fleeing their homes and heading to countries they do not know to avoid famine, war and persecution. We will take some time in Cambodia to pray for those seeking refuge and experience a little of what it must feel like to be a stranger in a strange land by going through a day in the life of a person immigrating to a new country and culture.
We still have room on our trips. If you want to sign up, or know of someone who would be excited about spending 11 days in Cambodia serving along side other amazing ministries please send them our way. For more information go to the web site here.
