October Justice Awareness
Welcome to the October Justice Awareness Month. Starting on October 3 and going through October 31 we will be walking through what it looks like to take up the call as the Church of Jesus to “do Justice.” Through stories of people who have bravely answered Gods call, the October justice awareness month points to practical and biblical ways that you and I can be involved in bringing God’s justice into an unjust world.
To participate and journey with us please sign up on the Facebook events page Then we can engage throughout the month on the Steps Facebook page or our Twitter and Instagram stream. Post your comments, your thoughts, your actions and any stories that have happened as a result of “doing justice.” Our stories will inspire others to engage and get their own cool stories. turning awareness into action

Over the past 29 days you have taken Steps of Justice. Some steps you have taken for the first time and others you may have taken many times before. We want to continue to bring awareness to people about the areas of injustice that are out there in the world, some right in our backyards. Our desire is that you don’t stop here, but continue taking steps of action to see change happen. As an organization, we want to continue providing opportunities for you to learn and get more involved in justice. We will continue to run outreach trips for students and adults and put on different teaching and worship events to promote awareness and action. We also will continue to produce and distribute the Steps of Justice Prayer & Action Guide to as many people as possible. We are asking you to help us in our vision by considering the following options:
- Run a justice awareness event for your friends, school or church, and do one of the action challenges in this Guide.
- Take a 30-day challenge where you and your friends, school or church go through this Guide.
- Support one of the non-profit organizations that we highlighted in this Guide.
- Support Steps of Justice by giving through PayPal. 100% of money donated goes towards Steps of Justice projects.
